Thayer, Chronologisches Verzeichnis (Nr. 139) besaß Beethoven "Händel's Werke in 40 Franzbänden. London Ausgabe": Hierbei handelt es sich um die 40bändige Arnold-Ausgabe, die Beethoven im Dezember 1826 als Geschenk von Johann Andreas Stumpff aus London erhielt (vgl. dazu z.B. BGA 2207a).
